Using a proxy to bypass school filters to play an online game?

I am going a boarding school and in the boarding house the school provides internet but it also blocks many websites, and the system that they are using (Novel) seems to block the sever when I try to connect to online games. I have used proxy sites before to unblock websites that I wanted to assess, and was hoping that I could use a similar method to play online games in particular EVE, Navy field, Air Rivals, Voyage Century online and any other good free online games. If no one can answer my first question please recommend some good free games.So does anyone know how to use a proxy to bypass school filters.Thank you

Not sure if you can get around the blocks but my current favorite poxy is FreshFlower.org.Also - I mentioned this site in another answer - my old favorite was unblockthissite.info but it started to be blocked where I was.I like to use proxies for annoymous surfing rather than getting through blocks.Schools and such are getting more sophisticated in catching annoymous proxies. Whether you should try to get through them is a personal decision. There's reasons why they lock out some sites. I know I may disagree with their reasons - I think you should be allowed to surf on down-time - at lunch - between classes, etc.It's ultimately a censorship, control and freedom issue. Let me know if these work.

k so go to btping.com and create an account. then log in at school (they usually dont block it) and the proxy will be right there. BT Ping is also a social networking site that allows users to stay in touch with people they met over our bluetooth instant messenger. The bluetooth instant messenger allows users to instant message with other BT Ping users within 10-100 meters of them. Please visit the BT Ping Forum in the navbar above for more information. So this means that you could be in a chat room on your cell phone with any one in 100 feet of you.
