Ok. So. I tried to open limewire today and couldnt. My mom has removed a few things from my pc, including Java runtime environment (?) So I went to the Java site to reinstall it, and got the error message ''Cannot Proceed with current Internet proxy settings" .The two solutions offered were to -open/run /install offline (which I tried, no good either) Or mess about with my proxy settings. I have progresseed so much since regularly using my pc (well, I can switch it on and play on myspace) But I have no idea what the hell it is I'm meant to do now. I don't have a proxy server address or port number. If I need one, where do I get it from?!Can anyone help me? I just want limewire back on!!!Thank you in advance!!PS, I will kill my mother if this is not resolved.....Her life is in your hands.....This is my problem, it wont download!!!Mixturenumber1. I tried all that, but still I get the same error message, saying sort my settings out!!!...???

Do a system restore.... I think it is corrupted JRE files...

lol dont kill your mother...Im not sure if the java thing is messing with limewire but I do know you must have java for 100000's of things. Many many many programs use it and it will definelty mess things up. So go to Java.com and re-download it
