Itunes Store Proxy problem?

I am connected to the internet using my university's proxy server.
Now, whenever I try to access itunes store, it asks for authentication, but it doesn't accept my authentication. I'm sure the id and pwd are correct. But it doesn't accept it anyway. What do I Do?
