Internet Explorer Proxy Settings?

Okay so my iTunes won't connect to the internet because my Internet Explorer won't work. Firefox does, so there's nothing wrong with my internet. IE tells me that there's something wrong with my proxy settings. I know HOW to change the proxy settings, Google has made that very clear. I just have absolutely no idea WHAT to change the proxy settings to to get IE to work. Where can I find this information out? Why does IE not work? Can someone help me?
