it blocked me when i tried to go on chicagogangs.org

if you're searching google, click "view catched" or something with catched.... It helped me get around my school firewall, which blocked wikipedia

If you mean web blocker, connecting to a different proxy server usually solved that, however all web blockers are different so it might not work.

Try using a Proxy, such as http://dmoz.org. If you are using a popular search engine, such as Google or Yahoo to search the internet with at school, use a less popular one, such as altavista.com

Use a proxy. A lot of school blockers have proxies blocked, so search for one when you get home. Get on Google and do a search for "bypass school website blocker" or something like that. There should be a lot of results.

They ARE blocked for a reason. the school Administrators and educators don't want you to go to sites that are not educational.
