are proxies traceable?

my parents blocked a ton of stuff through the firewall, if i use a proxy like kproxy & erase my history/cookies can they trace what i did? im using i.e. and they arent home

Thats it. Disobey your parents. God forbid those damn people care so much about you and your well being that they blocked sites they did not deem right for you. Screw them right? To answer your question Since you are on yahoo answers asking such a question, then yes they will trace what ever you have done because if you have to ask you are not smart enough to get away with it.

no your gooduse it to your hearts contenti dont think some people understandif it is just text based stuff you want to read then try this. go to start run and type telnet sdf.lonestar.org and create a account and use w3m to surf there. For pics you can try a proxy, only problem is you need to make sure they are not using a monitoring software to see what you are doing. Deleting files and cookies might not be enough.to get around that use a live cd for all your surfing. I would say puppy linux. Check that out. You can even save all your changes to a pen drive. It would be like having your own little pc no one could mess with.
