webmaster of a site? I don't know why i've become so curious in this lately, but say you wanted to look at a website and didnt want the webmaster to know who you are based on your host and location, you could use a proxy. But going to an ip lookup website as a test, the internal ip was still my own, even though the external ip was changed so location appeared to be different random places at each trial. Is there a proxy to hide the internal ip as well? because my internal ip is the same as the external, and id assume a webmaster would know that and be able to figure out who i am.

and i find it rather hard to believe that its illegal.
