You're not trying the right proxy sites then. SAM usually uses the 8E6 filter. Peacefire had a recommendation to set up a circumventor to get around this. You can also join an email list that will send you updated Circumventor sites that may not be in 8e6 filter system yet. Info on Circumventor at
